"Doom clones" on the Commodore Amiga


Did you know that John Carmack of ID software once told that the Amiga was not powerful enough to play Doom?

Years later Doom was ported and became playable on the Amiga after lots of “Doom-clones” had been made by fans. Proving that if not Doom could run on the Amiga, and then Amiga users could create their own Doom game just to prove even geniuses could be wrong.
